Sir Alex Ferguson hailed Ryan Giggs return to top form and claimed that the Welshman has played huge part at Manchester United in the current season.

Sir Alex Ferguson told the reporters, “It is a strange thing because Ryan's peak seems to have lasted so long now. You would think at 37, he would be showing signs of waning. I don't see any evidence of that. We look after him in terms of rest before games”.

The Welshman is widely expected to start against Schalke as Manchester United will look to defend their two goal lead from the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final.
