Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson to field a strong team against Blackpool
Its not good news for relegation-threatened Blackpool, as Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson has said that he will field a strong team for the last game of the season.

Of the five teams threatened with relegation, Blackpool perhaps have the toughest task at hand. They need a win in their game against Manchester United
and they will have to do something that no other team has managed to do this season; beat United at their homeground.

Manchester United have played 18 games at home this season and have won 17, drawing just one against West Ham, and that too after letting a 2-goal
lead slip from their hands.

Ferguson will have one eye on the Champions League final next weekend against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 but he said in his Friday presser that he will field an experienced
and strong squad for the game on Saturday no matter what.

"Edwin van der Sar, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dimitar-Berbatov-c11254 will play," said Ferguson on Friday.

It is highly unlikely that the Manchester United manager will play all his big guns but even the likes mentioned above should instill fear amongst their rivals.

Blackpool are entangled in a five way relegation battle with Blackburn, Birmingham, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952 and Wigan, to avoid the drop and anything less than a win is sure to end their stay in the Premier
League.

A win in the game at Old Trafford on Sunday will considerably improve Ian Holloway’s chances of staying up in the league, but they face the stiff task of beating United at home.

They were initially buoyed by the fact that Ferguson may be forced to rest all his key players ahead of the game in preparation of the Champions League final, but as the Scott said today, he
will be playing an experienced squad at Old Trafford tomorrow.

Ahead of the match, Ferguson said nobody has the right to criticize him for what team he fields on Sunday as anything less than a win is not a mindset for him and his troops.

The United manager concluded the press conference by saying, "You should be criticised if you lose a game that affects other teams, I remember we played Hull a couple of years ago and played
a lot of young players but we won the game 1-0. For some reason the previous year, Neil Warnock found it easy to criticise us for losing to West Ham. But if he had seen the game we battered them, so it was a bit unfair."
