Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is glad that the international break has come at the right time for his team’s title chances.
The Red Devils face a host of injury concerns and the manager is hopeful of getting most of his players back when the break ends.
Ferguson has criticised the timings of international fixtures in the past but this time he has taken a huge U-turn for his team’s benefit.
“It's come at an absolutely fantastic time for us. We've got the bonus of two weeks' rest to patch up the injuries, and hopefully that'll be the biggest break of all,” Ferguson told MUTV.
