Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson hoping for new contract
Manchester United midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Darron-Gibson-c10368 revealed he expected to hold talks with the Red Devils over a new contract at the end of the season. Gibson has a year left on his contract, which means he will be out of contract at the end of the 2012 season.
The 23-year-old midfielder admitted his desire to pledge his future to the club by signing a long term contract as soon as possible.
Gibson revealed he was confident of landing a new contract and was looking forward to the talks, he said while speaking to reporters, “My contract ends in 2012 and although there have been no talks at the minute I am not too worried about. I think they will
maybe in the summer sit down and have a chat about a new deal and I am confident I can get one.”

the midfielder is not included in Sir Alex Ferguson’s future plans which is why he hasn’t been offered a new contract.
The Republic of Ireland International insisted he was keen on a future at Old Trafford and confirmed he did not plan to leave Manchester United any time soon. He continued, “I have no plans to leave Manchester United. My main goal is to try and get to play
every week and be in there as a regular, but I think things are going well for me at the minute.”
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Republic-of-Ireland-c2987 boss, has reportedly been urging Gibson to make an Old Trafford exit when he is out of contract. Trapattoni believes Gibson has a better chance of first team football elsewhere, which he thinks will increase his
chances in the national team as well. The midfielder does not necessarily agree with his national team’s coach.
Gibson said he was happy with the form he had been in recently but revealed he was willing to work even harder. He has been rewarded with more appearances this season and he added, “Obviously I would like to have scored a few more goals, but I am enjoying
it at the minute and hopefully I can kick on and play in the rest of the games that are left in the season.”
Gibson joined Manchester United in 2004, playing for the reserve team and only a year later made his debut for the senior team. He was an important part of the reserve side that won the treble in the 2005-2006 season and was rewarded with regular appearances
with the first team in pre-season matches. Since then he has made 53 appearances for United, scoring 11 goals in all competitions.
