Manchester United to meet Barcelona in final after beating Schalke 04 – UEFA Champions League news
English Premier League giants Manchester United have set up the grandest stage in UEFA Champions League at Wembley, as they take on Spanish giants Barcelona in the final of the European Cup after thrashing Schalke 04 on Wednesday.
The Premier League side thrashed the German giants 4-1 in the second leg of their semi-final clash at Old Trafford on May 4, 2011. United had won the first leg 2-0.

and 31st minute respectively.
When Valencia slotted in the first goal, it was Darren Gibson who provided him with a perfect assist which was later compensated quite well by Valencia in helping Gibson to extend United’s lead to two goals in the 31st minute.
Although Jurado helped Schalke to make a comeback into the match by scoring in the 35th minute but United kept their cool as they went ahead with a 2-1 lead at the end of the first half.

On May 28, 2011 at the Wembley stadium, Manchester United will be desperate to take their revenge from Barcelona, as they went down 2-0 in Rome playing in the UEFA Champions League against Barcelona in 2009.
