Manchester United to sell Wayne Rooney after contract renewal, new signings: Kaka, Benzema and Sneijder (Part 2)
Rooney has faced lack of form since March this year. Since then, he has barely scored any goals. His form has deteriorated so much that he has been demoted from the starting line up to the reserves. Also, injuries have continued to bother him.
These reasons point that the deal was signed to increase the value of the striker. If the striker was sold now, he would amount to little in comparison to what his price was approximated 6 months ago.
This contract would give Rooney time to adapt in to a better self and regain his form and fitness while he is on that track. Also, if the player has increased number of years on his contract, he would automatically be credited to a higher price tag.
Another reason to support this idea is that Manchester United were on some serious hunting in the market with their cheque book and pen put to sign in a new striker and midfielder. Both players would technically feature in the attack and because of that
reason a French, a Brazilian and a Dutchman are on the list.
Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema and Kaka fill the French and Brazilian list while Wesley Sneijder is another hopeful from the list. During this Rooney period, there was some serious speculation about these players arriving at Old Trafford.
On that note there is a fire that is being constantly fuelled by speculation that the Brazilian super star Kaka might make a surprising entry in the English Premier League. Now that fire has a real possibility of burning everything in its path if the world
class player Kaka lands into arguably the world’s most popular league.
There is even some confirmation from ranks within Manchester United on the Kaka issue. Sources have informed that possibility of a contract and a bid are being formulated and soon there will be word out on that bid.
One thing is for sure and that is this cheeky move on Kaka will shake the pillars and foundations of footballing dominance. Kaka at the moment is in contract with the Spanish giants Real Madrid and this transfer of power between the two largest clubs in
the world is bound to create a new scenario whose ramifications and implications are yet to be unveiled.
To be continued in Part 3...
