Manchester United to take on MLS All Star on July 27th — Major League Soccer News
Major League Soccer (MLS) will host English powerhouse, Manchester United, in July 2011. Sir Alex Ferguson has accepted the invitation to visit the colonies and the match date has been finalized. AT&T MLS All-Star scrimmage is scheduled for July 27th, 2011, at Red Bulls Arena.

Back then, the guests ran through the American team with a 5—2 drubbing at Reliant Stadium, Houston. This time, however, the Americans are looking to avenge last year’s defeat.
Sir Alex Ferguson is set to visit New Jersey for a wide media event to enlighten the world with the details of the game. By the looks of it, the legendary manager has already started preparation for the upcoming fixture.
"We're delighted to have been invited to play the MLS All-Star Game for the second year running. Last year's game was a special occasion in front of a noisy, passionate crowd. Obviously we'll be looking to repeat the performance and the scoreline." said Ferguson.

MLS All Star team has won a number of matches in the past. This all started in 1996 when West All Star met East All Star at Giants Stadium. This format was followed until 2002 when MLS All Star met US National team at RFK Stadium. Team MLS thrashed The Stars and Stripes 3—2.
