Manchester United versus Arsenal – English Premier League: First half review

off the English striker and went out of play. In the 8th minute, United had another brilliant chance to score but this time Welbeck was unable to get his shot on target after latching onto a fantastic through ball by Ashley Young.
In the 15th minute, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Andrei-Arshavin-c5771 became the first player to get booked in the match as he committed a late challenge on Phil Jones near the half way line as both the players clashed in a 50-50 tackle. In the 22nd

In the 41st minute, Rooney added gloss to United’s score line as Ashley Young laid the ball off to Wayne Rooney who curled the ball past Arsenal’s young shot stopper to make it 3-0 at Old Trafford. Right near the end

Nonetheless, the first half came to an end on a high for Arsenal but it was United who dominated throughout with Rooney and
Ashley Young featuring prominently.
