Manchester United played their first home game of the season against Fulham, as they looked to go on and pick up all three points from the game.
United had already lost their opening game of the season and were looking to redeem themselves this time around.
The match didn’t kick off according to United’s plan, as they conceded a goal, just three minutes after the kick off.
Bryan Ruiz went on to play a free kick low into the Red Devils area, and Damien Duff went on to connect with the ball, as he sent it sliding into the back of the net with ease.
That lead lasted only seven minutes, as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 went on to score his first goal as a Manchester United player, in the 10th minute.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Anderson-c5565 played a pass to Evra on the wing and the Frenchman crossed the ball towards RVP. Van Persie then went on to smash the ball on the volley, as he sent his effort sailing into the back of the net with ease.
United then went on to start controlling the game, as they slowly shifted the game in their favour.
In the 36th minute, the team went on to take a two goals to one lead, as Kagawa scored his first goal for United. Cleverley sent a shot at goal from distance, but his effort was kept out by the keeper. Kagawa was present at hand to go on and flick
the rebound into the net, as the keeper had no chance of keeping his effort out.
The shot did look like it was taken from an offside position, but with the linesman not giving it, the goal stood.
Before the end of the first half, United went on to score for the third time. In the 41st minute, Young went on to whip in a brilliant cross to the far post, which was met by the late run of Rafael. The defender went on to beat his marker and
send his effort well into the back of the net.
In the second half, Fulham were given some hope of getting back in the game as Vidic went on to score an own goal.
A cross was whipped in from the left side of the goal and the United defender went on to muscle not only the Fulham striker, but his own keeper at the same time. However, his trailing foot got hold of the ball and sent it into the back of his own net.
Nonetheless, United were able to keep a hold of their lead, as they went on to secure all three points from the game.
