Manchester United played host to Stoke City, as the red side of Manchester looked to close in the gap on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, who were sitting on top of the Premier League table.
The match kicked off with a bang, and just eleven minutes into it, Stoke went on to score the opening goal of the game. United had been doing most of the attacks, which is why the goal came as a big surprise to everyone.
Charlie Adam went on to bend in a brilliant free kick, which went on to decisive everyone. The ball then fell in  a very odd area for United, and it resulted in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wayne-Rooney-c36736 putting the ball into the back of his own net.
However, United’s main man went on to level things up, as he scored for the Red Devils in the 26th minute. Rooney played a pass to Can Persie and then went on to meet the return cross, as he nodded the ball into the back of the net with ease.
Before the half came to an end, United went on to score another goal for United. Rooney went on to play a pass to Valencia on the wing, who went on to hit a low cross into the box. Van Persie went on to meet this low cross from the winger, as he converted
the ball into the far post from a very tight angle.
The second half kicked off with a bang for United, as Welbeck managed to score within seconds of the restart.
Rooney went on to combine with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international whipped in a tantalizing cross into the box in the 46th minute. Welbeck went on to meet the cross and dove in to head the ball past the keeper and into the net.
United were given a run for their money in the 58th minute, as Knightly went on to score for Stoke. He ran at the United defence, before he slipped the ball under De Gea and into the back of the net.
However, Rooney rose to the occasion once again and scored in the 65th minute to end all doubts. Van Persie sent the set piece flying in, and after the ball bounced out of a number of players, the ball fell to Rooney, who slipped the ball into
the back of the net.
