Manchester United’s Nani: ‘Arsenal are a bigger threat than Chelsea’

United’s no.17 stated that Arsenal will prove to be a tough side to beat when the two teams lock horns on Monday.

Nani said, “Arsenal are a bigger threat than Chelsea now. Chelsea have lost a few games and drawn some and their confidence looks a bit low. But Arsenal have been winning and being top of the league gives you great confidence. Arsenal have been doing well.

After travelling to the Emirates this Monday, Manchester United will head to Stamford Bridge next weekend to play the champions. The Portuguese international touched on the importance of performing well in the upcoming encounters with the big teams.
Nani felt confident that his side would emerge victorious in the key battles, especially after the rise in form of strikers Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov.
He added, “Our momentum is growing. Players like Wayne Rooney and Anderson are starting to play fantastically again. If we win against Arsenal and Chelsea, we’ll be in a very good position to win the league.”
The Bulgarian international is the leading marksman in the league with 11 goals and is eying the Golden Boot this season. Berbatov’s contract expires at the end of next season and a new deal between the club and the player has not yet been finalized. However,
the striker is believed to be ready to extend his stay at Old Trafford by signing a new contract with the club.
