Manchester United's Nani claims he is one of world's best players
Manchester United winger Luis Carlos Almeida da Cunha (‘Nani') has declared that he is one of the world’s best players.
The Portugal international was thrust under the spotlight for a controversial goal he scored in the 2-0 English Premier League victory over Tottenham Hotspur on 30 October.
Spurs keeper Heurelho Gomes had thrown the ball on the ground, mistakenly believing that a free-kick had been awarded. However, Nani pounced to put his side in the lead.

The 23-year-old joined United from Sporting Clube de Portugal in 2007 for a fee of 25.5m euros. With countryman Cristiano Ronaldo holding a firm grip on the right-wing spot, Nani was forced to wait for Ronaldo to move on to Real Madrid before he could claim
a regular starting place at United.
In the 2009-10 season, he scored seven times in 34 games. However, he has already netted five times in 13 games this term, highlighting his importance to United’s cause.
