Manchester United winger, Nani, has won the player’s player of the year award at the club’s award ceremony on Wednesday, May 18, 2011.
The Portuguese has had a wonderful 2010/11 campaign where he scored 10 goals and assisted in a further 18 of them to help United win their 19th league title and surpass bitter rivals, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749.  
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sporting-89-c40576 Lisbon star admitted that it was his best season in a United shirt and he was delighted to enjoy it with the award.
Talking to the reporters, Nani said, "I must say thank you very much to my team-mates. It means a lot to win this award. My team-mates have helped me a lot this season. That’s why I’m stood here. I have done my best to help the team win the league and, of
course, I have been very focused on working hard and improving as a player.”
The 24-year-old is hoping to perform much better in the coming season but his immediate aim is to win the UEFA Champions League final with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 on May 28, 2011 at Wembley Stadium.
On the other hand, striker Javier Hernandez was voted as the fan’s player of the year after his tremendous debut season with the club.
The Mexican joined United as an unknown prodigy before the start of the current campaign and has surprised everyone with his impressive displays. Hernandez has scored 20 goals in 44 appearances for United so far this season and has formed a sensational strike

The 22-year-old is ecstatic to win the award and admitted that he never imagined of having such great impact in his debut campaign. The striker thanked the fans and his teammates for their support and believes that it was all a team effort.
"I have to say thank you so much to the fans," he said. "They have helped me a lot. I think this was a difficult decision to make and I don’t think I deserve it because it hasn’t been just one player who has played well. We are a team.” Said Hernandez
After winning the English Premier League, Hernandez is desperate to get his hands on the Champions League by beating Barcelona in the final.
