Manchester cheap film ticket - Orange Wednesday?

Hi,

I am in Manchester. I am wondering if there is a cheaper price than just having a student discount costing about 4.5 pounds per person.

I heard Orange Wednesday gives authority to Orange customer, not sure it is only for contractor or for pay & go customer as well?

anyone has used that service before? how is that? is that cheap? Can i send a text message to get it?

any better ideas?

You can either call 241 and they will send you a text 'ticket' that you show at the cinema or text the word 'film' to 241 to get it. You get 2 tickets for the price of one - good deal! Here is a link with more info -

Edit - It doesn't matter if you are on a contract or pay as you go. As long as you are an Orange customer you should still be able to get it. If you are having problems, pop into your local Orange shop and they will help you.

Text 'film' to 241 and they give you a number to quote and you just show it to the usher at the cinema. Its something like 2 tickets for the price of 1
