Last season, City went on to end their forty four year old league title drought, as they lifted the Premier League trophy. What made the win a whole lot better, was the fact that they overcame Manchester United to win it.
However, instead of relaxing and looking at the coming season as a much easier task, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 thinks that this coming term is going to prove to be a whole lot tougher for his team.
The Italian feels that retaining the trophy is going to be a much greater and tougher task then winning it and he feels that the whole team needs to push through and really give it their all this time around.
"We did a good http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 for the last two years and I hope we can do a better one in the next five," Mancini told the club’s official website.
"But we cannot rest or start thinking that because we won the title that we are the best."It is more difficult to win the title when you are defending champions. We start again as if from nothing, we must forget that we won the title. Every team will want to beat us and we must work harder than ever.”

He then turned his attention to the rumours linking his top strikers out of the club, as he admitted that he had no plans of letting any one of the forwards leave the team just yet. He insisted that he had plans for all of them and that he wasn’t going to be offloading any of them in the near future.
"I think such speculation is normal, we have four top strikers and all the other teams in Europe would like strikers like them,” he added.
It’s now going to be interesting to see if the manager can help the team win two back to back league titles.
