Manchester City’s manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has gone on to warn his rivals that his team are looking to build on their success from last season, as they hope to win a trophy or two this season.
Mancini has gone on to win an impressive seven trophies over the last eight years that he has spent managing teams. With that record being as impressive as it is, he is looking to build on it in the future, and help add to his and City’s trophy cabinet.
In the three seasons that he has spent with the Manchester based club, he has gone on to win the FA Cup with the team, while helping them claim their first league title in over forty years.
However, the manager is not done just yet, as he is looking forward to winning even more trophies in the next three years, as he hopes to make City one of the biggest teams in the world.
“I hope the next three years will be even better," the City boss told reporters.
"I hope so. I think that now in three years we have won and I think we can continue to win in the future.”
"For us, it is important to win a trophy every year. If we continue to do it this, it will be good. I think we need to win more. More.”
"I always win. I think one season with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 we didn't win anything, but our premier target was to take the Champions League place and we got into the Champions League."
Despite all his claims, the manager is well aware of the fact that this season is going to be a real challenge for his team, as winning the title in such unfavourable circumstances is not going to be an easy task at all.
"I think now our target will be to win the second title because to win two titles in a row will be very important," he said.
"It is easy to arrive on top but it will be more difficult to stay there for a long time. This is the big challenge for us.”
It is now going to be up to Mancini and his team to go on and prove just what they are capable of. The team can’t afford to take any breaks over the remainder of the season, or they could end up falling even further behind United.
