Manchester City’s manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini believes that Carlos Tevez could prove to be the key in the upcoming derby against Manchester United.
City and United are set to take each other on in their most crucial match of the season and a win for either side could potentially see them go on and win the Premier League crown.
As a result, neither one of the two is willing to suffer any slip ups in the game, or let their opponents go on and pick up the win in the game.
Mancini has gone on to reveal that the former United player, Carlos Tevez could prove to be the player who helps his side pick up the win in the game.
The Argentine had a few problems with the City boss in the past, but that now seems to be behind them.
Mancini believes that Tevez is destined to score against his former club and that he could prove his loyalty to the team, by putting on a brilliant performance in the game.
“I think Carlos is destined to score the most important goal in the history of this club,” http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 said. “This is my belief.”
The striker has managed to score four goals in his last three appearances and he seems to be on top of his form. The City boss believes that had the striker not had a fall out at the club, things could have carried out in a very different manner for the
team.
“I hope he can continue [his current goalscoring form],” the Italian added.
“I don’t stop to think about where we might be if he had stayed for the whole season. It was a strange situation six months ago.”
“We are where we are because other players have played very well. But http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 is a top striker.”
The City boss then ended by stating that there was no pressure on him or his team, since they had already conceded defeat in the league, but admitted that a win could switch things up for the club.
It is now a wait to see just who ends up winning the Manchester derby.
