Manchester City’s manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has gone on to claim that his side didn’t deserve to lose their game against Manchester United, based on the way they played during the game.
The match saw City and United duke it out for a good ninety minutes, only for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 to score the match winner in stoppage time.
His free kick went on to take a deflection off of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360, before it looped into the far corner of the goal.
As a result, United went on to pick up all three points from the game, which now sees them sit six points ahead of City in the league table.
The match kicked off with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pablo-Zabaleta-c29022. However, with the Van Persie goal in the death of the game, City could do nothing to get back in the game at
that stage.
When talking about the game, and the fact that his side lost the match, Mancini is reported to have said: “This is football, we were unlucky in the last second. We played better, we didn't deserve to lose”
"For 20 minutes they didn't touch the ball, they shot three times and they scored three goals. I think that a game shouldn't finish like this.”
"When it was 2-0 we had chance after chance but we were unlucky. We played, they won, but also we showed we are better as a team.”
"We are disappointed but it is because we lost a game we didn't deserve to lose. I can say that I am happy for our performance."
The manager then went on to admit that the match was a rather good one, given the way both the teams were playing in it. However, once again he pointed out that up until the last few minutes, the City fans were probably having a very good time watching the
game.
Nonetheless, the manager went on to point out that the coin incident involving http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rio-Ferdinand-c31173 did end up taking something from the game, as it failed to help see the night out on a good note.
"It was a good game until the last two seconds for our supporters."
