Manchester City’s manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 and revealed that it would be disrespectful to Arsene Wenger, for him to talk about his players.
With Arsenal’s captain being in his last contractual year with the team, it is believed that Manchester City are going to move in and try to make a move for the player.
Last season, Van Persie went on to prove that he is the real deal, as he found the back of the net on thirty seven occasions and looked to be one of the best players around.
In fact, he was performing so well that the likes of Real Madrid, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 and PSG were reported to be the other teams looking to move in for the player.
However, with City still being the favourites to land him should he make the move out, Mancini was asked about the possibility of a transfer.
In response to this, the Italian manager went on to state: "Van Persie? He is an http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 player and I don't want to disrespect Wenger."
"We have four strikers and we will start the preseason in five days, it's unlikely there will be major changes in such a short time”
The manager then went on to admit that Edin Dzeko was not going to be leaving the team this season. He revealed the interest in the player from Juventus, but admitted that it was quite unlikely for him to leave the team at this point. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 also confirmed
that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez was more than welcome to stick around, should he not feel the urge to walk out on the club.
"The same goes for Dzeko, his farewell is not expected," Mancini continued.
“The interest from Juventus for him? It will be difficult that Edin goes away. Tevez will remain, unless he wants to change team.”
Nonetheless, despite Mancini making all these claims, it is safe to assume that City are going to try and make a move for the player. Should that happen, it will be down to the club to accept an over the top bid for a player who is nearing his thirties and
has a track record of being injured, while also having the ability to producing brilliance on the pitch.
