Over the last couple of seasons, City’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kolo-c21278 Toure has fallen down the pecking order at the club. The defender has gone on to become the third choice in his position at the team and as a result, many believe that he is looking to move out in order to secure
first team football.
Amidst these rumours, Bursaspor went on to make an attempt to sign the player and are still willing to follow up on their offer, should the centre back be willing to make the move.
Following up on this speculation, City boss, Roberto Mancini has stated that it is up to Toure to decide what he wants to do. The manager feels that the defender can decide what the future holds for him, since he still has a contract with City.
However, he claims that he wouldn’t mind letting the Ivorian leave, should the Turkish club meet the expected price for his transfer and match his wage demands.
The Italian is quoted to have said: "It is up to Kolo to decide if he wants to go to Bursaspor or not"
"However, can they meet his demands?”
The thirty one year old managed to make just eight league appearances for City last season, which saw a lot of rumours circulating about, claiming that his time at City was over.
Previously the defender went on to serve a lengthy ban, after he failed a drug test. He later on went on to reveal that the substance found in his body, was induced via a dietary pill that he had used.
Nonetheless, if Toure is looking to play first team football, then he needs to realize that the only chance of him doing so, is to join the Turkish club.
On the other hand, if he wants to see out his contract, while earning a ridiculous fee, then he might as well stick around at the Etihad for as long as he can.
