Manchester City’s manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has refused to rule out the possibility of winning the Premier League title and has insisted that anything could happen over the coming weeks.
City have a mere six games left to go before the end of the season and despite there being a massive eight point difference between City and Manchester United, Mancini is looking at the bright side of things and refusing to rule out the possibility of his
side winning the league title.
The Italian manager, when talking about just what could happen over the coming few weeks is quoted to have said: "It's not easy, but we need to think positively”
“I'm proud of all my players for what we did until today. We now need to continue to win to get the maximum points we can. Then we will see.”
He then insisted that he would never rule out the possibility of winning the title and went on to add: "I will never say we can't win the league if there is still a chance. That is not my life, never.”
The City boss then went on to reflect on just how http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 finished their season last term and believed that his side could learn from the Blues performance, given how they came to within inches of winning the league title last season.
He continued: “Also last year, if you remember, six games to the end Chelsea were six or seven points [behind]. But they went to Manchester three games to the end three points behind.
“We are professional, we need to finish well and we need to win the games we have left."
It is rather surprising to see City sitting in the second spot, despite the team dominating the early proceedings this season.
However, given how United have a far superior experience at winning league titles, many believes that City would run out on their luck sooner, rather than later.
Nonetheless, it is now up to the City players and their manager to prove just what they are worth, as they go into the final stretch of the season, with all the fingers pointing at them.
