Manchester City’s manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini has gone on to take full blame for his teams loss to Ajax in the Champions League, as he feels that at the end of the day, it was his fault that he couldn’t help the team win the game.
City went on to take the lead in the game as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Siem-de-Jong-c33482 went on to score the equalizer, just before the half came to an end.
In the second half, City went on to concede another goal, as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Niklas-Moisander-c27919 went on to score a goal for the Dutch side.
Roberto http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christian-Eriksen-c9074 went on to score for Ajax, as he deflected a shot into the back of the net.
When talking about the game, and how it was his fault that the team lost, Mancini is reported to have said: "I think that [Ajax] played better than us"
"They played better football. Probably it's my fault. I didn't prepare the players well for this game. I take the fault for this defeat.”

"I [prepared] one way, it was different. For this reason [we lost]. [We didn't underestimate Ajax], but when you prepare a game, you think it could be one way, but it's a different game.”

"I think that we had more chances to score, and in Champions League you need to score, when you don't play well. After Dortmund, I said [I knew what was wrong], but also we had a lot of players injured, but it's my fault and I take all this."
The manager has now gone on to admit that perhaps it won’t be a walk in the park to see his side qualify for the next round, but he admitted that he would do his best to make it happen.
With City having another unsuccessful night in Europe, it is a wait to see just what changes the team will make before their next game.
