Manchester City’s manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini could go on and become the highest paid manager, only if he helps the club win a number of trophies during the coming five years.
Earlier this week, City went on to reveal that the Italian manager had agreed to a new five year contract with the club and would continue to manage them in the coming seasons.
There were a number of reports which suggested that the Italian would make nearly forty million pounds over the coming years, but it has now been revealed that there are a lot of clauses in his contract.
The manager is on a five million pounds a year wage and the rest of his salary is based on incentives. Should he win a trophy with the club, he is going to get a rather decent incentive for that achievement. This means that the number of trophies that he
helps the team win, will help determine just how much this new contract is actually worth.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323’s previous deal saw him earn three and a half million pounds a year and didn’t contain very lucrative incentive based add-ons. At the same time, the owners of the club were pushing their luck, as they waited to decide whether they wanted to keep
the manager around or not.
Had they decided to part ways with him, they could have been forced to pay a very hefty compensation, since the managers contract was going to run out in 2013.
Nonetheless, with him having won the Premier League, it seems like everyone at the club is more than happy with keeping Mancini around.
With him now having five more years to go with the club, he is going to be able to build the team on a long term basis and this is going to prove to be very beneficial to the team.
Not only would this make the team more competent to compete in all their upcoming competitions, but it is going to help insure a much higher success rate.
It is now a wait to see just how much Mancini’s five year stay at the club ends up costing the club.
