Mandatory memory card to store music on the blackberry curve 8310?

i just bought one and i wanted to know if you have to have a memory card in order to store music on it

and if you dont, how do you put music on it?

It is highly recommended that you have one. The reason for this is the BlackBerry has a limited amount of internal memory, and if it gets low it will start to delete messages or call logs. Also, if you try to store music files in the main memory the maximum size of the file can be 2.86MB. Most music files are larger than that.
