Manga Idea ... ?

I got some good ideas on my other question, but there’s one idea I never considered. It was a suggested from answerer kiki.

Here was the answer: u could do a classic magical girl story or a story that follows their ordinary lives (azumanga daoih is an example of this) try asking the people on www.oztaku.com for ideas too, it is an aussie comic that publishes manga from people a few times a year.

I like the idea of following them through their normal lives. I never really considered it since I thought it’d be boring, but having it mentioned by someone else kind of changes my opinion.

So what are some good ideas for a manga? I’ve got characters and ages and I know it takes place at a dorm if I go for a ‘normal’ type of story. I don’t know if any of you have ever seen a dorm like this, but my sister used to live in one: She lives in a dorm for all girls and goes to an all girl school. The dorm holds people at a tenth grade level up to their first four years of college.

it can start with a new girl in skool

everybody makes fun of her, but another girl becomes her friend and defends her, remembering how she was bullied on teh first day too. the girl begins to make her group of friends grow from her crazy personality that very few people know about, she is also a little ditzy, like the traditional manga girl character. She goes shopping or somethin and sees a boy. she blushes, all her friends ask wats wrong and she says shes okay

she sees the boy again in the park, but she is alone. they make eye contact he smiles and she bushes. he says i believe i saw you yesterday?

so yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

the rest of teh story is basically her and the boys developing relationship, but the boy and girl are separated because of the dorms. so, he sneaks in every once in a while, causing trouble

her friends find out, but keep quiet, afterall they ARE her friends. the teacher they have befriended before decides to keep quiet when he found out (oh i forgot, the boy has no home, he is an orphan trying to forget his past) in the end, the confusion causes so much trouble in the school wen others start doing it too. it becomes a coed skool, the boy overcomes his past with the help of the girl. he then is adopted and goes to high school with the girl
