Manic Panic hair extension clips? ?

please answer my question friendly&helpful Yahoo users,

I want to dye the underneath of my hair purple- but as usual, mother disagrees!

She is telling me to wait, but I CAN'T!

So I am deciding on first getting those manic panic hair extension clips, with human hair, to show her what it really looks like!

I was wondering, do they look really fake? Or realllllly stupid?

as long as they're human hair

and you have to wash them in really cold water so the dye doesnt run out. since its temporary
