  1. Yes.  I've never been a supporter of people who like a team just b/c one player or coach.  Baseball is a team sport and thus one player doesn't make a team.

  2. Oh, please, I am begging; get off the Manny thing!!!!!  I have been a Red Sox fan since 1967.   Been through the Impossible Dream, Tony C, Fisk gone to Chicago. Been through Boggs, the cranky but hunky Jim Rice.  Been through Buckner, Clemens (ick), Mo Vaughn and Nomah.  Manny is a tiny speck in the life of a Sox fan.

He was a great hitter.  He was a big jerk.  He's gone.

    Please, can we move on?!

  3. never was..........

  4. It hurt me because I was overseas when I heard about Manny being traded. The news pretty much ruined my vacation in Korea.

But despite that, if the Red Sox office thinks the move is going to help team make the playoffs, I think I can trust John Henry and friends. I mean, remember when Nomar was traded, and all we got in return were two nobodies by the names of Dave Roberts and Orlando Cabrera? Remember what happened with those 2? A ring in October.

I was, am, and always will be a Red Sox fan, so long as they don't let go of Jason Varitek.

Let's just see how life without Manny will turn out for the rest of the season adn the next several years.

  5. Yes. You have to stay loyal to your team even if a star player leaves. Even though he was a main part of their lineup, I think they will do fine wit Bay. The only reason you should change your favorite team is if your a crazy Manny fan like the Phelps Phans(haha phan instead of fan!!!) like in the AT&T commercial. Besides there won't be many Dodger games in Boston.

  6. Yea now its the bay state

  7. im still a boston fan,

    just not a manny fan.

MANNY IF SOME HOW YOU READ THIS,

I NO LONGER WISH TO BE YOUR WIFE.

ill move on to josh beckett;]

  8. Yeah I'm still a Boston Fan and always will be.

  9. of course

  10. Yea the Red Sox is still my favorite team along with the White Sox they have been better without Manny cuz it seems he got bored with them and wouldnt play to his full potential

  11. I say the Red Sox got better actually aquiring Jason Bay.

  12. Yeah, they are still a good team and they have some really good players. It was a loss, but im still a fan.

  13. I'm still a Boston fan

  14. No and never will be.

  15. Of course I am and I always will be.

I liked Manny a lot, but I would never stop being a fan just because a favorite player of mine was traded.

I'll love the Sox til the day I die.

  16. Yes. You aren't a true Boston fan if one of the players gets traded and you no longer like them

    GO SOX

  17. Of course i'll always be a sox fan. sure they traded a future hall of famer. but if you saw how he acted in final week it was just outrageous! he ran slowly and you could see that he must have been doing this just to get traded. in my opinion this could be a blessing in disguise. sure you lose some offense but you gain defense something that manny could not provide.
