It's no big deal because it's actually the fans in NY and Boston that have unadulterated hatred for each other, which I can't understand because it's all about a game and not territorial rights.....  They have no say in who stays, who "sucks", who's the best, who goes, who should watch games in their home stadium, etc.....  Joe and Manny will get along fine and will definitely make a difference in the success of the LA Dodgers.

They'll get along, Manny just quit on the red sox, so i think he'll be fine on any team.

I think Torre's a decent guy so I don't know about any "foul play or dirty tactics".

It won't affect anything. Red Sox vs. Yankees matters to the fans and the media a whole lot more than it does to the guys on field. It doesn't matter if they are in red socks, dodger blue or pinstripes, they play to win.

Edit: And yes, Manny will ignore Torre's managing but not out of any maliciousness. There's just something not quite right with that boy...

I don't think that there will be anything different.  The only thing is, is that Manny is getting to old and may not be playing for much longer.  Joe Torre, may have to put up with the same problems as the Red Sox.
