Manny Pacquaio vs. Roberto Duran at Lightweight(both in their primes)?

Who do you think would win and why?

And do you think it would be an all out war?

Yes that would be a good fight.  Pacquaio is a throw back to the great fighters like Duran.  He fights the best available and makes his division interesting.  Head to head I don't think there was a better lightweight fighter than Duran.  Fight would go the distance with Pacquaio hanging on at the end.  Duran win by decision.

Duran beat legitimate fighters at much heavier weights. Just look at his record. He beat Ken Buchanan, Esteban DeJesus, Ray Lampkin etc at 135-a division that Manny has yet to enter. He also beat the great Sugar Ray Leonard and knocked out Pipino Cuevas as well as decisioning Carlos Palomino . He Moved up and fought and beat the undefeated Moore rip. He fought and made a good fight of it when he moved up to fight Marvin Hagler who many consider to be the greatest middleweight of all time ( including Emmanuel Stewart ) He even moved up and defeated Iran Barkley at 160 plus pounds and dropped him in the process.This is the same Barkley that knocked out Tommy Hearns. Robert Duran had to get DOWN to 135 lbs. Manny is moving up !!! I think Duran would kill him at any weight from 135 on up.

manny is not a natural 135 pounder, and hasn't fought at that weight as of yet.

duran was big enough to fight at supermiddleweight, so at lightweight, he dominates pacquiao and stops him late in the bout.
