i think hatton would be too strong for manny.

Manny's natural weight is 140 so it isn't as if he'll have to put lots of extra weight on, but I don't think his power and sharpness would translate to 140. Being a natural 140 pounder gives him the strength and power to fight below that weight once he trims down. It's a weight class that Hatton dominates, but he needs to get back to fighting smartly instead of continuing to fight the same fight he did against Tszyu, he's now getting hit far too much. I would take Hatton to win, but it would be by no means a walkover, they can both bang and they can both take a punch. If it were to happen, I'd say that Hatton should seriously think about retiring afterwards.

If Manny can make the transition up to Light Welter with no problems then we are looking at an absolute cracker in this one, if Manny retains his freakish punching power as he moves up then i would have to say that Pacquiao may well stop Hatton in an absolute slugfest as it is though i would have to say it will be difficult for Manny to jump two weights and fight the best there is at Light Welter, im not sure if his frame looks big enough, however i think it would be much easier for us all to answer this question after we see how Manny does when he gets it on at Lightweight agaisnt Diaz.
