Manny Pacquiao believes he is a highly experienced boxer – Boxing News
The current WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao believes he has done all in the industry. Pacquiao, who will be defending his title against unbeaten American boxer Timothy Bradley, believes he is way more experienced than Bradley. According to Pacquiao,
his experience is enough to beat Timothy, who is a young pugilist making his way to the top.
In his recent interview, Pacquiao stated, “My experience against Hall of Fame-caliber opposition is also an advantage for me. I have learned so much from fighting legends such as Oscar De La Hoya, Miguel Cotto, Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera and Juan
Manuel Marquez. Anytime a southpaw fights an orthodox-style boxer head-butts are bound to happen, but with Bradley it's more of a concern because he tends to lead with his head. Hopefully we will have a good referee who will not let him do that. Regardless,
it's my job to be prepared for anything he may bring.”
Manny Pacquiao is currently training at the Wild Card Gym owned by Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach. Pacquiao recently suffered jet lag but is now back in form and sparring hard for the bout. Freddie Roach, Hall of Famer trainer, believes Pacquiao has all
the abilities to knock out Timothy Bradley.
In his previous interview, Freddie Roach revealed that Manny Pacquiao looked dim in his last bout against Juan Manuel Marquez because he was suffering through a domestic dilemma. Roach revealed that Manny’s wife had given him divorce just a day before the
fight was held. Roach said that Manny was highly distracted which became the major cause of his dim performance that night.
Now, Roach believes that his fighter is training hard to beat Bradley. Roach wishes Pacquiao to prove his mettle this time to the naysayers. Many analysts and former fighters believe that Pacquiao has lost his stint, especially after his third fight against
Marquez. However, Pacquiao thinks he still is the same pound for pound king and he is ready to prove this to the world.
Timothy Bradley is a young fighter of a latter generation, while Manny has had years in the industry. If Manny loses, this might be his last match.
