Manny Pacquiao guarantees exciting bout
Despite giving up five inches and likely some 15 pounds when they enter the ring, boxing star Manny Pacquiao says he will trade with opponent Antonio Margarito to give fans a good show.
In a recent boxingscene.com article, Pacquiao said: “That's the kind of fight I like. I like to make a good fight for the fans. Margarito throws a lot of punches, and I throw a lot of punches. This will be a good fight for the fans. I can promise that we
will be throwing a lot of punches in the ring, but I don't think he will handle my speed,” Pacquiao put forth.
Things heated up recently between the two camps when a video emerged depicting Margarito and trainer Robert Garcia allegedly making fun of Pacquiao trainer Freddie Roach's Parkinson’s disease.  The news immediately spread through the boxing world, with almost
all parties condemning team Margarito’s actions.
In response Garcia, who is otherwise respected in the boxing world, said he was sorry about the comments and that they shouldn’t be taken seriously.  He likewise implied they were in part an attempt to continue mental games initiated by team Pacquiao weeks
before.
Roach, who has suffered from the disease for years, responded with fury and suggested he would let his fighter do the talking in the ring.
Pacquiao will look to use dazzling footwork and hand speed to confuse the bigger Margarito in the ring.
In March "Pacman" took on Joshua Clottey, and was able to convincingly defeat him.
Margarito is coming off an unspectacular win against journeyman Miguel Cotto and a knockout loss at the hands of “Sugar” Shane Mosley.
"The Tijuana Tornado" was outsmarted by a game Mosley, who used his superior ringmanship to counter punch and ultimately score the win.
Many believe the fight will be ‘do or die’ for Margarito, who hopes to score a victory for his native Mexico.
