Now before everyone gets all worked up hear me out. I have a problem with the comptition that Pac Man has faced. How many top black fighters has he beat none I,m sorry guys and girls but when I hear Jim Lampley and Manny Stewart talking about how fast Pac Man is and how hard he hits I have one question compared to who. I don,t think that he is that fast I think he hits hard when we are talking about speed I think about Ray Leonard ,Roy Jones Jr. Floyd Mayweather Jr. Howard Davis Jr. Now were talking about speed. I know Pac Man is a HBO fighter but don,t tell me he is a great fighter when it is very clear that he is being protected. I was sick listing to Lampley talking about how great this guy is.Until he beats the best black fighters I will not regard him as a great fighter. I,m old enough to remember when they would only let one great black fighter become a champion every 15 years Ray ROBINSON HENRY ARMSTRONG

  1. Hes a great fighter.. but there is no decent black fighters in the smaller divisions..

To get the superfeatherweight title he had to beat a mexican..

to get the lightweight title, he had to beat a mexican..

Mexicans dominated the smaller divisions and then Pacman beat them all to get the belts..

  2. Okay. Lets try to solve that. The guys mention are in the higher division.  Mayweather is in welterweight division. Roy Jones is in Heavyweight division. So this guyz have the power. Pacquiao started as flyweight, then Super Bantamweight, Super Feather weight, and now Lightweight. See the difference? But if you ask those guys you've mentioned they salute PAC MAN. So another question answers. Lets go to credebility. Most exciting fighter in the world. Now that Mayweather has retired, his the best pound for pound boxer in the world. A hall of famer. One of the five boxer who got 4 titles in different division same as ROY JONES JR, OSCAR DE LA HOYA. etc. First asian boxer to have four titles. Has the power, speed, and tactics. And take note at a young age. Well, thats it for now.

  3. if manny is not great then mayweather is a peanut.

what if manny retires like the peanut? you can say that he is a coward. but the peanut already did that, retired. but he still great.

    what a resoning?

    anyway, manny being protected?

the coward peanut is being protected by himself. retire right away.

    way to go?

if you have the capacity then you promote the fight manny against  a great black that you know.

  4. The bottom line is Manny has won 4 different titles in 4 different weight classes. His record speaks for itself. Yes it would be very challenging for him if he fought Floyd Mayweather Jr and yes, he might lose. But you cannot capture 4 different titles without fighting against at least one decent fighter. I admit, David Diaz is probably not a future Hall of Famer but he puts in a huge amount of effort and no one can win a WBC Title without being a decent boxer. At featherweight Manny was too strong for his opponents now he is too fast for them it seems his only two real challenges would be Floyd Mayweather Jr and Miguel Cotto but is that a reflection on the boxing talent that is out there today or is it a reflection on how good Manny Pacquiao really is?

  5. I don't think it's got to do with being black or being Mexican. I think Mexican fighters are really good too and they're really warriors in the ring. It is useless to think if Manny could beat Floyd or Sugar Ray 'coz we really can't tell until they actually fight...but then that is close to impossible coz some of those are retired, others are of higher weight class. Filipinos are about the same weight as the Mexicans...that is why Manny is often matched to a Mex but some of the blacks are heavy and tall.

  6. Great memory, but you got to stop living in the past, it's a new age.

That's great that you think Manny is not all that great, but isn't it a coincidence that Floyd moved up in weight as soon as Erik Morales, Marco A. Barrera, J.M. Marquez also began to move up in weight.  These are all fighters Manny went up to face and FIGHT. These fighters are FUTURE HALLAFAMERS. And know at 130 lbs completly destroys David Diaz, in exciting fashion.  The only reason people know Money May, is the fact that he was GIVEN the decision over Oscar De La Hoya. In which I know some black people said Money May lost, and some Mexian people said Oscar lost.

Manny Pacquiao being protected! BY Who? He's been in several wars and has been nominated for fights of the year. How's that being protected?

How many has Floyd Mayweather, Roy Jones, Bernard Hopkins, Sugar Shane Mosely, Tim Austin, Nate Cambell, and Zab Judah been nominated for? combined?

Why did Money May turn down about 8 million DOLLARS to not fight Antonio Margarito? It cant be because of marketing, because Cotto-Margarito fight is selling.

Im no expert, but isn't Manny Stewart African American?

  7. Lol you have to realize something.....there aren't many black fighters that are that small to begin with...floyd hated fighting in the lower weight divisions because he had to lose so much weight, most black fighters are found from the welterweight division up not really in the lightweights, Manny has impressed me,he did not win those titles by being cuddled he fought for them, he went out each night and defeated who he had to defeat in order to win the title and winning four titles is no easy task, i doubt he could dominate at welter since there are many guys there that are much stronger than he is ut i think at lightweight he s pretty good, obviously i will wait until i see him face other good lightweights like campbell and casamayor.

  8. I agree with one of the guys above, until ur PU$$y boy floyd comes back then shut the F**ing up bro, u c ur lil black boy is chickening out from the puerto ricans, mexicans etc, to show u what culture comes from the color, like shut up man! Stop hating admit the guy is good!!

  9. You know why he hasn't fought any black fighters? Because there is not 1 top 10 contender in the super featherweight division. Other than Nate Campbell, who else is a black top 10 fighter in the lightweight division? Can't think of one? Who has Nate Campbell beat that meakes him so great? Other than Juan Diaz? Can't think of one either? Nate Campbell is 36 yrs old dude, he ain't exactly hall of fame material.

You can't possibly dismiss the fact that Manny Pacquiao beat 3 great future hall of famers from Mexico. No other fighter has beat all 3 ( Morales, Barrera and Marquez ). It really shows how much you don't know about boxing if you really think that there is a black fighter in any division lighter than welterweight that is better than Manny Pacquiao.

Facts show that the lower weight divisions are dominated by Latin American and Asian fighters, and the heavyweights are being dominated by Eastern Europeans. From Welterweight to Cruiserweight is where Black fighters stand out, and even that is in jeopardy with the likes of Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito. Floyd Mayweather going into retirement. Kelly Pavlik and Joe Calzahge owning the middleweight to lightheavyweight divisions. Honestly black fighters are less and less prominent in boxing. Can you name one black boxer in any weight division who is Ring Magazine Champion? Can't think of one? How about David Haye? Oh Yeah, he's British!

  10. seems like society today tends to hate on anything that is GREAT..

it has nothing to do with race.. black white mexican filipino whatever

give credit where credit is due.. pacman has 4 belts!  game recognize game

  11. Stop talking about whether he is great or not.

He is now the best boxer in the world and that has been announced in the news like 100 times already!

Even Diaz said that Manny's punch are just too hard and fast. So beat that!

    and SHUT UP!

  12. Just face it man hes a good fighter, the best at the smaller divisons...

What black fighters are there for him to fight???

these days the only guys in the lower weight classes are spanish or asian.......

Hes the best , stop hating..

until your little pu$$y boy mayweather wants to come and meet manny at a catch weight, SHUT UP

  13. pacman has 4 belts.. what more proof do you need?  race has nothing to do with anything

  14. I don't understand, which top fighters has he avoided?

You mention "how many top black guys has he beat?"

Who are these people you are referring to?

The only fights that haven't been made that have any consequence at weight classes he has been at are

    Joan Guzman and Edwin Valero.

He has beaten Morales, Barrera, JMM even if these guys are older they are still very dangerous.  You are stating a case without backing it up with who he should be fighting.  Or are you saying that there is no talent at all in the lower divisions?

  15. I understand where you are coming from, although I do think that Manny is a really good fighter and he impressed me a lot in his last fight, and some previous fights as well.  The thing is that in the previous weight divisions (112, 122, 126, and 130 pounds) that he was in, there wasn't that many black fighters.  The majority of the top fighters in those weight classes were Hispanic and he defeated all of them- Morales, Barrera, Marquez, etc.  However, now that he is at 135 pounds, Nate Campbell is there waiting for him, as well as Joel Casamayor, Joan Guzman, and a third fight with Marquez.  Granted, only Campbell is an American black person out of those that I just listed, but he is a d**n good fighter who should get a shot at Pacquiao if he gets by Joan Guzman in his next fight (which is no small task either).  I usually wait until a fighter's career is over to call them great, but in my eyes, Manny is well on his way to becoming (or already being) a truly great fighter.  But, in all honesty it is a matter of opinion- I may see Floyd Mayweather, Jr. as a truly great fighter, but others may see him as a guy who ducked a lot of top contenders.  Or I may see Joe Louis as the best heavyweight of all time, but others may see Muhammad Ali or Mike Tyson as the best, see what I'm saying?  If you don't think Manny Pacquiao is that great of a fighter, then that is your opinion and no one can take that away from you.

  16. Name a black fighter right now that can beat pac man???...............waiting........none... . I'm a mexican and as of right now manny is pound of pound the best fighter. He is the new money maker the next big thing in boxing.  watch out for manny.

  17. Why are blacks are HATING!! Floyd punked outta boxing. Pac Man can't fight Roy Jones to much weight. I mean I'm sure if you put a black man there he will fight him and most likelt beat him. Don't start like Hopkins. Talking all that trash and then got beat.
