Manny Ramirez, crazy, insane, bi-polar or just plain dumb? Boston fans, please answer.

What do you think of the latest Manny quote? Has he completly gone mad? Why would you ever say "the red sox don't deserve me"? What are your thoughts and feeling on Manny?

i am not a boston fan but i agree with you on the matter of trading him to some horrible team so he gets no coverage. but i bet he doesnt get traded

I doubt he has a serious mental illness such as bipolar disorder.  It would be very hard to structure a major league hall of fame career suffering from such a disease.  However, he is definitely strange and unbalanced. His behavior and actions and words are not normal and are detrimental to the team.  As well as he can hit, I think it's time for the Red Sox to trade him.

Manny Ramirez has incredible talent as a hitter.  He bairly even tries and still is going to have a hall of fame career.  Manny could break a ton of records if he gave it his all.  Manny doesn't care about anyone but himself and the Sox need to trade him for some good talent.  It is definetly time for the two parties to part ways.

I've been watching him since he came to the Sox, so I've wondered the same things myself! I don't think he's dumb, or seriously deranged, but I do think he's an indulged, spoiled, arrogant guy who thinks that he is bigger than the team or anyone on it.

How he manages to ignore the many example of classy behavior around him (Ortiz, Lowell, Varitek) I don't know.  I DO think he has ADHD, seriously.  Those sudden dashes into the Monster, his distraction in the outfield......

At any rate, I hope someone will take him, anyone, anywhere, please......

alot of people don't like Manny's personality. But he is a good hitter, and people should respect him because of it. He always hits above 300. And when he retires, he well definetly be inducted into the hall of fame

I think he is upset that the Sox have not picked up his option and feels disrespected. I don't blame him for being upset but he has handled the whole situation poorly. I would love to see Manny go to the Yanks in the offseason and stick it to the Sox.
