Look at his stats after becoming a L.A. Dodger...

3 Games (including today's game)

12 AB, 3R, 7 H, 5 RBI, 2 Homerun....Batting avg .580 !!!

(Not to mention he's batting 4th and being a good leader in Dodger's offense lineup...)

Now THAT is amazing!!

Now, Dodgers really have a great chance of advancing to the NL playoff....Should the dodgers fans thank the Red Sox management or what?

  1. The Dodgers and Dodgers fans should praise the Red Sox for virtually giving them nothing for Manny Ramirez.

An established veteran with Hall of Fame credentials.

  2. This is a legit clean up slugger !

  3. I can't help but to be jealous of you dodger fans.

I miss Manny so much! He was my favorite sox player, my old one being Nomar..

It stinks even more knowing that he didn't even want to be on the team anymore! :(

but yea, best of luck to manny... :( :( :(

to the person above me, who said boston didn't appreciate him? last time i checked, we adored him!

  4. Not that he isnt able or hadnt been doing some what the same in Boston, but just goes to show you, when a player is dissatisfied, and changes venues, they get back in the groove to what they are capable of doing. He will be quite a valuable player in Dodger Blue. However will he be enough to get them the division title remains to be seen.

  5. o man those 3 games r gunna make manny mr. dodger anyday...please i know hes done good and willl probably continue but don't act so suprised he is a future hall of famer and besides do u really believe that you won't see the "other" manny soon

  6. Manny will be a great addition to the dodger lineup. joe torre is great at taking the pressure off of players and will make manny feel right at home in l.a.  manny being manny will no doubt give BOTH the dodgers and sox a playoff spot.

  7. not at all hes a lazy piece of **** and red sox are doing GREATTTT without that a*****e:)

  8. He's been doing phenomenal in a Dodgers uniform. Good for him, and for the team and the fans. Obviously he won't possibly stay as hot as he is right now for them. But Jason bay is almost as hot for the Red Sox. Sure he isn't 7 for 12, but his hits have been really clutch. Both Sox and Dodgers fans should be happy right now.

  9. Wait til his stupid twin comes in wearing Dodger Blue. The one that has 3 of his grandmothers die so he cant play because he has to go to their funerals, the one that beats up team mates in the dugout like he did with Kevin Youkilis on national tv, give a fan a hi-5 in the process of making a running catch in the outfield and then doubling somebody off at 2nd base, pushing 2 Red Sox staff members on seperate ocassions and getting away with it, going into the left field wall to use the bathroom and order chinese food during a game, shutting it down for the season with 12 or more games remaining in the season, not hustling down to 1st base, on deep fly balls when he THINKS he has a homerun, walk out of the batters box and then run when he realizes that its not a homerun, come up with phantom illnesses when he does't feel like playing. This is the player that Red Sox Nation and the Boston Red Sox got for the amazingly low low price of 20 MILLION DOLLARS per season??? Good luck in the off season when you try to sign him to some kind of contract.

The catch and the hi-5 while doubling off the player at second was an awesome play. The World Series MVP that he had in '04 was great and the 2 rings that he has are great too. But he's still strange and must have given Terry Francona as well as Theo and the Trio many gray hair and migraine headaches. His lifetime statistics have earned him a spot in the Hall of Fame. At this time in his career he is NOT worth another 15-20 million dollars a season based on his most recent antics with the Red Sox.

  10. Amazing not only him everyone has at least a hit, I am in Hawaii and cant go out rather be here watching the game by the way Casey Blake is 3 for 4

  11. He's awesome!!

  12. He should fit in well there. Let him have his hair, he is a baseball GOD. Too bad the Boston people didn't appreciate him. Hope Torre leaves him alone to go to the post season with.
