Manny Ramirez could become a Marlin?

I'm a Sox & Marlins fan, and I just heard that the Marlins are in talks with the Sox for a possible trade that would send Manny to Miami for OF Jeremy Hermida and a top pitching prospect. Could this happen? How desperate are the Sox to get rid of Manny?

This would be MAJOR in Miami. He'd be the biggest player to go to the Fish since... well, maybe Carlos Delgado.

This would be good for the Marlins. The Red Sox would pay the rest of Manny's salary and they'd have a chance to win it all this year plus they'd get draft picks when they don't re-sign him.

Bad for the Red Sox. They'd basically be giving up on the season if they traded Manny for potential, especially for a guy who's never seen AL pitching.

The Sux REALLY want to get rid of Manny. As Manny said" The Red Sux treat their players badly".
