ESPN is reporting this too now. This is an amazing move for the Red Sox. As a Braves fan (we were in the hunt for Bay for a little while, and were apparently in the final stages when Pittsburgh said no), I am very jealous. I didn't want Manny, so I'm happy we didn't get him, but I wish we could've got Bay. Bay will put up huge numbers, and he will finally be noticed because he plays in Boston now. Manny was going to leave, and he was pissing and moaning about everything, so it was a great move by the Red Sox.
