  1. It depends on whether or not the rest of the big name players get their head out of their a$$es. No one on the team is hitting over .300, plus its August and Andruw Jones is hitting .167. Maybe Manny can bring some life into these guys.

  3. Oh definitely. Manny is a huge improvement and the Dodgers barely gave up anything. The DBacks did nothing. The Pirates got prospects, and we got f*cked.

  6. yes, the dodgers gotta be feeling good about now...the d-backs are probably worried, and even though LA has improved, i don't think manny will be enough to best the cubs in the playoffs. Your name says it all--the cubs are better. That said, please don't think i'm buttering you up, because i am not--i'm a fan of a different team in a different league--but in all honesty, it should be the cubs and the angels in the WS. Should be a doozy fall classic.
