Real Zaragoza registered their second away win of the season as they came away with a 2-1 victory over Granada; however, their coach thinks that they should have killed the game early on.
Two goals in the first 30 minutes of the match gave the visitors the lead. It was Helder Postiga who opened the scoring after he struck the goal in the 3rd minute and then Rodriguez doubled the visitors' lead midway during the first half.
After the interval, the home side tried to come back into the game as they pushed forward, but they failed to create clear-cut chances as the game progressed.
With 72 minutes on the clock, things got worse for Granada. Central midfielder, Iriney, was given a red card, and therefore, he had to march out of the pitch.
Granada got their consolation goal when their newly signed striker,Youssef El-Arabi, pulled one back for them during the 77th minute.
Meanwhile, Real Zaragoza coach, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manolo-c23349 Jimenez, feels that his team should have killed off the game earlier since Granada were becoming dangerous during the second period.
“We should have killed the game much earlier. Granada became much stronger later on, and we struggled with their long balls into the box."
Regardless, he is happy with the way things have turned out and feels his team has dealt with the situation accordingly.
“My team though, was comprehensive. We knew they would be difficult, but we handled them well."
On the other hand, Granada coach, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Juan-Antonio-c19650 Anquela, was furious with the result and admitted that his team deserved to lose.
“Real Zaragoza were better than us. They were far better than us. We struggled all evening and didn't play as a team. We didn't really do anything right."
He continued saying that his team didn’t stand up to the occasion and as a result of that, Zaragoza got the better out of them.
“We looked like a team without soul, and that to me is very worrying."
Finally, Anquela revealed that he has confidence in his team and believes that they will get better as the season progresses.
"I trust my team though, and I'm convinced we'll get stronger.”
The two teams are only separated by one point as both of them have been struggling in La Liga this season.
