Another year, another season but the problems of La Liga seems to threaten glory from it every year. While it was the player’s union that threatened last year, it has been a union of 13 top flight football clubs that questioned the start of the campaign
with differences with LFP.
The Spanish football federation in association with the State Secretary of Sport, Miguel Cardenal, managed to quell the uprising, bring the clubs to an understanding that would allow the machinery to work as smoothly as ever.
While the question of broadcasting rights and its distribution continues to seek an answer in Spanish the corridors of power, the league will start as planned.
Real Zaragoza coach, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manolo-c23349 Jimenez, is preparing his squad for his revolution at La Romareda, took out time to reflect on the big events on centre stage. The striving manager shared that strikes are not the resolution to their problems and all these activities
add up to are nuisance for the fans.
He added that it is sad to notice that fans are not accounted in the whole process, reflecting that it is for the people they come out on the pitch every week.
“The biggest drawback is not being able to have people in the ground who are not able to come because they have work the next day, or even the supporters clubs who cannot catch a bus,” he said at a Press conference.
“These people are not being taken into account.”
“We are looking at the ones who put on their slippers, turn on the television, watch the first half and then want to fall asleep.”
Reflecting to questions about the coming season, Jimenez shared that they are eagerly awaiting the start of the season.
“We have not played to our full potential so far but we will start with great enthusiasm.”
“We will be ready and mentally prepared so that it is not a struggle.”
“I am sure I will give my heart and soul in defending Zaragoza,” he noted.
