Manopoulos or Dal Ngro? I'm looking for a nice wooden backgammon set? Any suggestions?

I'm looking particularly at the Manopoulos mahogany, red and white, or black and white, or the Dal ***** ebony at about twice the price. Anybody have one of these and can tell me how they've worked out??? Any comments are appreciated, yet please don't tell me that the $20 set from Toy's r' us is better. I'm looking for answers particularly on high-end wooden backgammon sets. Thanks so much.

Both are well made backgammon sets. Manopolous has an established history as a well built products, that will last.

Also, Dal ***** is an excellent backgammon set as well. Same thing, good solid product that is not cheaply put together.

At the prices that you are talking about, both should do their job creating a fine backgammon histoy. You just need to decide which set you like the most.
