Question

Exactly why did they tear down Sharon Tate's house? I was wondering if it was still standing and I read somewhere that they tore it down. Any additional information is appreciated. Thanks!

The property owner wanted to be left alone and not have people driving by taking pics

They tore it down because no one wants to live in it

The house was sold by the owner, Rudi Altobelli, in 1992 and in 1994, the new owners had it demolished and a gigantic mansion built in its place. The new house remains unsold, however, and it's not believed to be because of what happened in the former house. What stands there now is a monstrosity that is way too large for the long, narrow lot it sits on.

It was torn down..I do not know y..but a house was built on top of it and it is haunted. There was a  ghost show that went to inspect it and on the tape you could hear a female saying you hurt baby.... and it was really sad. The man who owns it doesnt let anyone sleep in this room anymore
