A time of great shock and sorrow comes for the Indian and International cricket fraternity after one of its elite members, and a former Indian Captain, Mansur http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ali-Khan-c996 Pataudi, lost the battle with a lung disease, that marked his sad demise at the age of
70 in Delhi on Thursday.
Khan, who was famously known as ‘Tiger Pataudi’, was hospitalised in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Delhi-c780 earlier this week, after suffering from an interstitial lung disease, which worsened his conditions over the next few days, following which the ‘Nawab’ lost his battle with the illness.

As for his cricket career; Pataudi was one of the youngest Indian skippers the nation has ever had and arguably one of the best, serving his side in 46 Test matches, between 1961 and 1975. His major skills were with the bat which earned the Nawab 2793 runs,
