  1. The latest on this is that his attorneys are trying to prevent him being sent to France.  The reason behind this is that although he has been convicted of money laundering in France, some of the government officials have stated that he will not be considered as a prisoner of war (status he had in the U.S. due to the Panama Invasion).

If France were not to give him this legal status, the judge should then send him to Panama.

You are right about him not going to the can since he would benefit from house arrest for people over 70.

If he does come back though, I don't see much of a threat in the sense that withouth a doubt he is a political corpse and would not get any support from anyone.

Some are saying France, the U.S. and Panama have cut a deal to prevent him from coming since he might take the lid off the can and incriminate important names in Panama right now.

Whatever the case is, I don't see this as an issue for Panama right now.  If he were to come back though, I think he owes it to us to apologize and come clean.... I suggest that since I don't think it would be fair to ask the guy just to shoot himself in the head.

  2. My aunt told me he was going to go back to Panama.Believe it or not, some Chorrilleros still like and support him.

  3. I thought it was settled that he would be going to France.  Are you in Panama?  Did you see the article in La Prensa about his house in Coco Del Mar being painted and cleaned up?  Something about a celebration on his arrival at Tocumen in Panama.  But then I thought yesterday it was decided that he would go to France because they wanted him, he does have an appeal process he can go through, but he's on his way.  No matter, I don't think he will not live long no matter where ever he ends up spending his last days.  He's killed, tortured, and ripped off to many people.  Someone will want to get even.  Our maid's dad and uncle were killed by one of his thugs when she was 10 yrs old,  all just over real estate.
