The man who served as an official for the Catalans has suggested that La Blaugrana’s recently departed head coach will be back to coaching soon.
Barcelona’s former director of external relations, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-c23383 Estiarte, has voiced his opinion regarding the club’s former manager, Pep Guardiola.
Estiarte believes that the Catalan tactician will not be able to stay away from football for long. He stressed that it will take the on-break mentor not more than a year in making a comeback to doing what he does best.
Guardiola is ranked amongst one of the most successful managers of all time and his reign at the Nou Camp is considered to be one of the best eras in the history of Barca.
The 41-year-old was a youth player at the Spanish giants and also served the club as a professional footballer. Being from the Johan Cruyff era, the player-turned-manager was able to learn a great deal from the legendary Dutch footballer.
In addition to this, he was also the manager of the Barcelona B team before becoming the head coach of the senior squad.
The Spaniard was made in charge of affairs at the Catalan capital in the summer of 2008. Amidst great doubt, Guardiola proved out to be a great success with the Spanish giants.
During his 4-year spell as the club’s mentor, the trainer led the club to success in a total of 14 competitions.
Considering his success as a manager, Estiarte is of the opinion that Guardiola will be back to coach a team sooner rather than later. However, he made no comment about which club Guardiola will choose to sign for.
While talking to reporters, the former Azulgrana official was quoted as saying:
"He will return next year. He can't go without football too long. He will start to look around in December or so. He will not return to coaching in the season that's about to start, though."
