The Bayern Munich shot stopper has hailed new signing Javi Martinez and has tipped the midfielder to shine at the Allianz Arena.
Javi Martinez joined the German side earlier this summer for a €40 million fee from Spanish side Athletic Bilbao. The club were in desperate need of a defensive midfielder in the summer transfer window and at one point of time,
the Martinez deal looked to have hit the rocks as the La Liga club wanted Bayern to meet their buy-out clause.

The German international added that there will be great expectations from the fans given the staggering transfer fee involved, but has called for patience from the fans as every new player takes some time to settle at his new club.

On the other hand, the shot stopper claimed that the Spaniard has settled in well at Bayern Munich. He stated that the player can communicate well with his new teammates and is happy with his new side.
“He's a very open guy and the good thing is that he speaks English pretty well for a Spaniard. Will his hefty price tag weigh down on him? You don't think about money when you step on to the pitch,” he concluded.
