out of the group stage.
The goalkeeper insisted that they were certainly the better side in the quarter-final against England and truly deserve their place in the semi-final of the European championships. He hailed the unity in the Azzurri camp and has
warned his side against the threat Cesare Prandelli’s side possess.

On the other hand, the former Schalke shot stopper stressed that he will be prepared if the game goes into a penalty shootout. He claimed that Andrea Pirlo’s penalty was a touch of class but stated that it is not a shot he will
try in every game.
“His spot kick? You can't say anything as long he scores. We [goalkeepers] don't like to be beaten that way, but everybody has his own way [to take penalties]. It went well, Hart did not react. If he repeats it I would be careful,
but the possibilities are incalculable. Maybe I prepare for the spoon and he puts it in the corner,” he concluded.
