apart from the fact that he has much improved chance of winning silverware.
Neuer signed for Jupp Heynckes’ side last summer, and his performnaces in between the sticks have been phenomenal. The shot stopper has let slip only 10 goals from the 17 league appearances prior to going into the winter break
and his heroics have helped Bayern qualify for the knock-out stages of the UEFA Champions League, where they will take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Basel-c39079 on February 22 for the first leg.
The goalkeeper is confident of challenging for all the major honours this year which includes the Bundesliga, the German Cup and the UEFA Champions League. He insisted that his move to Bayern Munich was the next step in his career
as he now has a better chance of securing silverware and challenging top teams in Europe.
While talking to UEFA.com, the 25-year-old further mentioned:
“It's pretty similar. I haven't changed my profession but here I can talk openly about winning trophies, about winning the league, winning the German Cup, and even winning the Champions League. So we can communicate that
to the public.”
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 number one claimed that he has had no difficulty whatsoever to adapt to the conditions at his new club. He admitted that there is little difference between the two teams as both are two of the best sides in Germany
at the moment.
“Apart from that, both teams are top teams. Bayern have competed internationally more than Schalke, and in the end I can say that I don't regret my move,” Neuer concluded.
The former Schalke shot stopper will return to action on Friday, January 20, against Borussia Monchengladbach at the Borussia-Park. It will be a stern test for the shot stopper considering the sensational form the Foals have been
in recently.
