The Bayern Munich goalkeeper has taken responsibility for his team’s loss to Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday.

The shot stopper was talking in the wake of his team’s humiliating 3-1 loss to the Foals in the season’s second-half opener on Friday, January 20, at the Borussia-Park. Apart from Reus, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Patrick-Herrmann-c29275 scored the other two goals
for the Foals who completed a resounding double in the league over the Bavarian giants.
Neuer stated that he was targeting a pass towards Mario Gomez, but misdirected his kick which went straight to Reus, and the striker made no mistake in finding the net. He added that it was his mistake which eventually led Bayern
to a loss, but urged his team to put this loss behind them, and concentrate on the upcoming assignments.
While talking to reporters after the game, the former Schalke shot stopper further insisted:
"My mistake led to the defeat and that is hard. I tried to clear long to the right side to (Thomas) Mueller and (Mario) Gomez, but I directly passed to a 'Gladbach player, to Marco Reus. For him (to score) it was easy then. For
me it's obviously difficult, but we have to go on. We didn't take the three points but we have a lot of games left."
On the other hand, Neuer commented on his team’s upcoming game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Wolfsburg-c40881 on Saturday, January 28, at the Allianz-Arena. He stated that Bayern will definitely go hard at their opponents in order to achieve the all-important
three points, and keep their title hopes alive.
"We have to play like we can and due to the fact that we are playing at home I am convinced that we show a different attitude and we need to get three points," Neuer concluded.
Bayern are currently atop the league standings with 37 points, but only due to a superior goal difference over Borussia Dortmund and Schalke.
