Manuel Neuer insists he wants to end his career with Bayern Munich- Bundesliga news
Bayern Munich goalkeeper http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-Neuer-c23424 has expressed the desire to end his career with his current club. The player admitted that he is delighted to join the German giants and wants to perform at his full potential in the upcoming
season.
Neuer left Schalke 04 for Bayern in this summer’s transfer window after the former ended a drastic domestic season. The Bavarian giants acquired the player for an estimated fee of around 18 million Euros and signed a five year
contract.
The former Schalke player was elated with his move to the Allianz Arena and admitted that Die Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in Europe. He insisted that he has been taken care of at the club and he will surely gain from his
experience when playing at this level.
The shot stopper remained confident of a successful maiden season with his new club and added that he is determined to perform in the next season.
“There are three people from Bayern at the same time asking whether what they can do [anything] for me. Here everything is bigger, more people care about you. It's all a bit more professional,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The player has set his sights on winning trophies with Bayern and admitted that he could have five years to achieve his goals. He hoped to be fully fit for the next campaign and insisted that he will give his all to make sure the
club achieve success.
“I want to give everything. I do not know if I will remain [at Bayern] for five years or longer,” he continued.
Neuer responded positively when asked on ending his career with Bayern Munich. He admitted that it would be a great thing to play for a club of the stature of Die Bayern and that he would be honoured to end his playing time with
the club.
“That does not sound bad,” he concluded.
Manuel Neuer made 199 appearances for Schalke and won the DFB Pokal last year.
